FAQs

There are several reasons why you should choose Champion Homes over any other home builder in NSW. The first is that we go above and beyond to ensure that our services are accessible to as many people as possible. That’s why our single-level home designs can be altered to accommodate your budget.

We also offer a very wide selection of narrow lot home designs that are single storey, especially in comparison to other home builders. Instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach, our single storey designs feature a varying number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and parking spaces to meet the needs of you and your family.

Another benefit to working with Champion Homes is our dedication to our craft, which has been recognised by the HIA NSW Region Display Home Awards on multiple occasions. Our homes were finalists for best display home in their respective price range in 2017, 2019, and 2020, with a win in 2018 for our stunning Novara 215 home.

There are a few factors you should consider when determining whether or not a narrow lot single storey home is right for you. The first is, how many people will be living there? How many bedrooms and bathrooms will you need? How many car parking spaces? If your answer on the last question exceeds 2, then a narrow lot may not be suitable for you.

When it comes to choosing a specific design, you should focus on both the exterior and the internal layout of the home. This would include how you’d like the bedrooms positioned and whether or not you want a media room, study room, or a granny flat. No matter which home you choose, it’s essential to take both your present and future needs into consideration.

The hardest part of moving for most people is having to leave their school, friends, and community behind. Thankfully, there’s a way of moving into an entirely new house without having to leave your street. We here at Champion Homes are leading experts in knockdown rebuild homes. We’ll knock down your current, outdated home and build your dream home in its place!

Working with one company for the entire process, rather than hiring two separate ones to take care of demolition and home building, will save you time, stress, and money in the long run. We know what we’re doing, and we take great pride in making the entire process as straightforward and stress-free as we can for you and your family.

Once you’ve decided on one of our one-storey narrow lot house plans, our staff will prepare the tender request documents for you to fill out and submit to our office. After we’ve received those documents, we’ll prepare a custom design of your home with all requested changes. We’ll then prepare a tender detailing all the inclusions in your new home, which we’ll go over with you at the tender acceptance meeting.

After you’ve approved the tender, we’ll work on the final set of drawings, which you can accept and sign off on with the HIA Building Contract for New Dwellings. During this process, we’ll help you incorporate your own character and style into the build using our Style Studio. This is where our consultants will help you make custom selections that give a personal touch to your new home, such as the exterior and interior finishes.

Once all supporting documents are submitted and approved by all relevant parties, we’ll begin constructing your new home. The project will be led by a construction supervisor, who you’ll be able to meet on-site at various points throughout the build. The last step of the process is the final inspection, where you’re given your keys and are taken through the finished house with the building supervisor.
