Champion Homes a Winner

Champion Homes was a Winner at the 2018 HIA-CSR NSW Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards

The team was incredibly excited when their name was read. The category they won was HIA NSW Display Home $250,001 – $300,000, partnered by Beacon Lighting Commercial for their project.

The winning home was the Novara 215, a very popular design on display at Calderwood.

The judges referred to the quality and finishes of the construction as well delivered. They also said it was presented with exceptional quality. The judges commented on the orientation and light, and said it was suited to the block. “The design internally is bright and spacious while ideally suited for narrow allotments,” said the Judges.

Congratulating Champion Homes on such an outstanding achievement was HIA Executive Director – NSW, David Bare. “The awards recognise excellence in residential construction. These awards provide a tremendous opportunity for HIA members to showcase their projects and highlight building and design excellence,” said Mr Bare.

WHS Compliance Officer/Administraton

In this role you would be responsible for attending building sites and meeting with sub-contractors to ensure all paperwork is complete, in order, up-to-date and compliant as well as undertaking all associated administrative duties.

You would start and end the day in the office and have access to a company vehicle for site visits.  Our head office is located within proximity of M7/M5 junction, at Hoxton Park.

To be successful in this role you –

  • Have previous experience in a role involving Health & Safety
  • Ideally have had exposure to a construction/trade or similar background.
  • Are an excellent communicator, able to deal effectively with a wide range of people
  • Are comfortable with undertaking all associated administration including updating registers, updating and maintaining documentation etc.
  • Have excellent follow up skills.
